Lisa Balderson

Training Associate
Lisa Balderson is a CIPD qualified People and Culture (HR) Consultant with more than 10 years’ experience, who works primarily in Film & TV. She has been in the industry since 2003, initially focussing on Awards, Festivals and Programming before pursuing a role in HR.
Her extensive industry experience provides her with a deep understanding of the culture within the sector, as well as the challenges that productions, individuals, and companies face, enabling her to provide focussed and insightful solutions.
Lisa works across both scripted and unscripted genres, including specific HETV Productions, providing HR consultancy to smaller independent companies and production start-ups, as well as creating and delivering training sessions for organisations such as BECTU Vision and ScreenSkills. Lisa’s training remit covers HR basics for production companies, culture change, and other people related ways of working.
She holds a Level 3 Award in Training and Education, specifically aimed at training those working in the Screen Industries, a Mental Health First Aid Certificate, and holds Approved Manager i-ACT status.
