Nick Ransom is an on-screen journalist and has appeared across the BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and Sky. Being autistic himself, in 2022, he worked on the BBC Two series Inside Our Autistic Minds with Chris Packham, as an assistant producer. He also runs the Neurodiverse Media Community group for those who are autistic, dyslexic, dyspraxic or have ADHD or another form of neurodiversity.

In 2017, he was diagnosed as autistic and now strives for better autistic representation in the media as well, now working as a neurodiversity consultant. In the workplace, neurodiversity can offer real potential and he is a big supporter of ensuring those who are neurodivergent are accommodated to help create an equal, diverse and fair society.

He regularly talks at broadcasters, production companies and universities as well as referencing the subject on air.
